TO THE HEARTLAND OF FEAR
What happens when a Jewish writer, with no fixers, few contacts, and only a tourist visa, decides to venture into the heartland of fear?
In November and December 2010, Jonathan Garfinkel traveled to Pakistan and Afghanistan to gather research for a play. While there he compiles a series of travel notes – observations of the war on terror, as well as musings on his own fears and out-of-placeness. Please join us for a special presentation as Jonathan Garfinkel reads from these notes and shares photographs from “the heartland of fear”.
