EVENT: QDF Spring Calendar Launch

On Monday March 5th, 2012, the Quebec Drama Federation will present its Spring 2012 Theatre Calendar Launch at the Rialto Theatre (5723 avenue du Parc) from 7:30pm-midnight. This FREE public performance features excerpts and previews of upcoming English-language theatre productions. The MC for the event will be Bernard St Laurent, CBC host of Radionoon Montreal and C’est la vie and is CBC Quebec’s senior political editor, providing political analysis on Daybreak.

Also, with the Spring theatre launch, QDF begins the celebration of its the 40th Anniversary of serving the English-language theatre community of Quebec. We will screen a special video with some of Montreal’s most prolific English theatre artists and makers.

This is a free event for the general public and is designed to give audiences a taste of what is available this upcoming theatrical season. Complimentary refreshments will be served!

The Theatre Calendar launch will feature previews from 14 upcoming productions from Montreal’s professional, independent and community theatres. They are:
