(photo: Mike Melino)

This is Sophie Protopoulos' second year with The Hudson Music Club. She performed as Belle in last year’s production of Beauty and the Beast. Dancing since she was 6 years old, her love for musical theatre was only discovered when she performed as a “phantom” for the Rocky Horror Show Live for Diverscite in the summer of 2006. That fall, she joined the Lyric Theatre Singers and performed with them for three years. She has also worked with a group called Camp Broadway. In 2007 she played Frenchy in their production of Grease and Sally Bowles in their production of Cabaret in 2008. She most recently played the role of Mina Murray for their 2010 production of Dracula the Musical. She was also part of the ensemble in this year’s Yiddish Theatre production of The Jazz Singer.
