April 29, 2011-Montreal- This summer, comedian Dan Bingham lays bare the emotional wreckage of his childhood for your amusement in this hilarious and reflective look at growing up adopted. Raised by a strict, Irish Catholic mother and her hoarding, abusive boyfriend, Dan’s one-man show takes us from his troubled childhood to his only slightly less troubled adulthood as he comes to terms with his past and reunites with his rowdy Scottish family, The Biologicals.
About the artist - Dan Bingham is a comedian, writer and actor from Montreal, Quebec. He studied Creative Arts and Theatre at John Abbott College and graduated from Concordia University with a BA in Communication Studies. Dan performed at the Montreal Just for Laughs Festival three years in a row. He has appeared on television in the programs Blue Mountain State and 18 to Life, and he is currently working on a Comedy Now special for CTV, slated to film this September. After six years of squeaky clean standup, Dan is going balls to the wall for this year’s St-Ambroise FRINGE Fest. He just needed a personal story to get those puppies out there.
