News: MainLine Theatre announces new general manager

MainLine Theatre Welcomes Mike Bordage as the New General Manager
MONTREAL, September 18th, 2011 - MainLine Theatre is proud to announce the appointment of its new General Manager, Mike Bordage. Having been a part of the FRINGE family for the past 3 years, Mike is looking forward to this new challenge with the company.

“MainLine was jonesing for an infusion of new blood and Mike is just what the doctor ordered” – Jeremy Hechtman, Artistic and Executive Director of MainLine Theatre.

Mike has worked in theatre administration, box office and stage management for nearly 10 years. He was a passionate student in the Theatre Production and Management program at John Abbott College, creating and brought to life various stage productions through lighting and sound design. He has most recently worked for Le Conservatoire de musique et d'art dramatique de Montréal, Just For Laughs Comedy Festival and Geordie Productions. He began at the St-Ambroise Montreal FRINGE Festival as the Box Office Coordinator and worked his way up the ranks to now be General Manager.  

Mike will be replacing former General Manager Patrick Goddard who served as MainLine Theatre’s General Manager from 1999-2004 & 2007-2011. 

MainLine Theatre’s season is already underway, having begun with the Processed Theatre’s hit show The 25th Annual Putman County Spelling Bee. Upcoming performances and events include All I Want is U2 by Théâtre Sans Fonds/MainLine Theatre, The Wild Party by In Your Face Entertainment, MainLine Theatre’s 6th Anniversary Slow Dance Night and the St-Ambroise Montreal FRINGE Lottery Party.
