Are you tired of reading the autobiographies of people you thought you cared about but 20 pages in you realized you didn’t? Do you find reading too time consuming or are you an environmentalist who thinks printing books kills too many trees? Whatever your response “Robby Hoffman: Autobiography. So what, you think you’re better than me?” is a comedy show for you. Meet the woman whose hilarity has tickled the funny bones of audiences all over Canada and the U.S. This unique live show includes video interviews with friends, family, neighbours, Source employees, local celebrities and comedians all in an effort to help reveal the essence that is Robby Hoffman.

Born in Brooklyn NY, Robby, moved to Montreal in 1993 when plaid was the peak of fashion and song titles like the Crash Test Dummies’ hit single “Mmm Mmm Mmm Mmm” was considered both relevant and profound. During these last 14 years she has proven herself to be a fast rising star in the comedy world. She has been featured at the Just for Laughs event for Auberge Shalom, the Meow Mix and regularly appears at the Comedyworks and Comedy Nest. Being the 7th child of a family of 10, what was most important was ensuring that she didn’t become the biggest f*%k-up in the family--the odds where in her favour. Her Brother, having impregnated a toothless girl from Charlemagne (the birthplace of Celine Dion), made Robby’s questionable sexuality and career choice from accountant to comedian, less of a blow to her hearing impaired Jewish mother.

So, instead of getting your autobiographical fix from something like, Confessions of an Heiress: A Tongue-in-Chic Peek Behind the Pose by Paris Hilton, come get that same fix live and with the ability to laugh-out-loud at/or with Robby Hoffman at her very own Fringe show.
