LITTLE SCREAMLittle Scream's music is - as her moniker suggests — full of contradictions. It is at once familiar and foreign. The title of Little Scream’s debut full length, The Golden Record, references this very juxtaposition. In 1977, the Voyager Space shuttle launched into space with a time capsule recording of sounds, language and music intended to represent Earth for, as Little Scream says, “some form of sentience that might intercept it in the distant future when we are the distant past.”
Long-listed for the 2011 Polaris Music Prize, The Golden Record was co-produced with Richard Reed
Parry (Arcade Fire, Bell Orchestre).

Little Scream is hands down the best live act I have seen since Tune-Yards almost three years ago. – Said the Grammophone
She’s an artist in the same vein as Scout Niblett, Patti Smith and Cat Power -- a ferocious singer that uses her voice as an amorphous instrument. – CBC.ca
A true, simple, beautiful thing is felt in the raw, open lilt of her voice, kept apace by the spontaneous rhythm of her frenetic foot stomping. – La Blogothèque

REVERSING FALLS
Reversing Falls make explosive pop music - a Montreal based trio fueled by distorted guitars, anthemic melodies and hard hitting drum machine beats. Reversing Falls delivers precision crafted, filler free guitar pop and has garnered comparisons to Pavement, Guided by Voices, Big Black or a more abrasive Sloan.

Produced by the band and Mark Lawson (Arcade Fire, Timber Timbre, The Unicorns), Little Goodbye / Doom Beach takes the streamlined ADD guitar blast of their Recoder EP and pushes it into the red. Gleaming acoustic guitars, laser beam riffs and a manic croon backed by churning bass and the steady tick of an MPC 1000. Darker without compromising pop sensibilities, these blasts of "controlled chaos" are a preview of the band's upcoming debut LP.
Few bands can pack as much energy, originality and catchiness into two minutes. – Midnight Poutine
There’s definitely a sense of controlled chaos to this collection of songs, and that’s one thing that sets Reversing Falls apart from other noise-pop upstarts that have cropped up over the last little while." - Quick Before it Melts.

Three local boys armour up the guitars and go bombing through tunes that seem on the precipice of spinning out of control, but which somehow always manage to crash back in around their simple, central songwriting ideas. - The Hour

CATHERINE KIDDAn incontournable of Montreal’s spoken word scene since the early ’90s, Catherine has forged a reputation as one of the nation’s most surprising and inspiring voices for page and stage. Her award-winning multimedia poetic creations have toured to Europe, Asia, Africa, UK, US and Canada.
After seven years touring her last show, SEA PEACH, and a three-year hiatus to launch a novel and recharge, Montreal writer-performer Catherine Kidd returns this October to premiere her latest show HYENA SUBPOENA.
Our city’s newest superstar… a knockout. This Kidd is pure gold. — Montreal Gazette
Clearly one of Canada’s most talented wordsmiths. — Broken Pencil
Catherine Kidd’s performance style makes me think of Dr. Seuss meets Mutual of Omaha’s Wild Kingdom meets David Suzuki meets Vaudeville meets Patti Smith. Yeah, it is that good. It’s a musical theatre crash course in punk rock zoology. — T.L. Cowan
